It Is One Of The Ninth Historical Gurudwaras In Delhi. It Is Situated In Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi By The Ninth Sikh Guru 'Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji'. It Is The Mark As In The Honor Of The Guru Who Have Beheaded By Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb On 11th November 1675 As He Refused To Convert To Islam. It Is Named As "Sis Ganj Sahib" As The Word Sis In Hindi. In Order To Pay Honor To There Guru's Head Which Was Beheaded To Save Their Religion.

The Gurudwara Was Built In 1930. The Trunk Of The Tree Under Which The Guru Was Beheaded Is Still Preserved And Also The Well In Which The Guru Used To Take Bath When He Was In The Prison. Adjoining The Gurudwara (Police Station) Where Guru Was Imprisoned And His Disciples Were Tortured. The Gurudwara Was Built By The Sikh Military Leader 'Baghel Singh'. As You Enter The Gurudwara Hall There Is A Front View Of The Darbar Sahib Or The Prayer Hall Showing The Palki Having The Guru Granth Sahib. It Is One Of The Eminent Place Which Is A Must Watchable Places Of Delhi. People All Over The World Come Here To Worship And Offer There Prayers.
