Jama Masjid Is One One Of The Fmous Mosque Built In Delhi Near By Red Fort. Jama Masjid Was Commonly Known As Masjid -E- Jahan - Numa Which Is One Of The Largest Mosque In India. It Was Built By Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan And Was Completed In The Year 1656. It Is Built Up Of Red Sandstone And Marble With The Architectural Islamic Style.

Every Year On The Auspicious Day Of Muslim Throng The Mosque To Offer Eid Namaz In The Morning From All Over The Country. This Mosque Was Built Up Under The Supervision Of Wazir Sadullah Khan. It Has Several Relics Of Islamic Relegious Significance Like An Old Age Transcript Of The Holy Quran Written On Deer Skin, The Footmarks, Sandels And A Red Beared Hair Of The Holy Prophet Mohommad. It Has A Huge Wall Named "The Guide" Two Words Featuring 260 Columns Located On The Western Side Of The Mosque Adorned With Sculptures Of Jain And Hindu Architectural Pattern Making It A Lovable Place To Visit.
