Lumbini Park Is Urban Park Which Is Located In Hussainsagar In Hyderabad, Named After Lumbini Of Nepal Dedicated To Lord Buddha. As It Is Located In The Center Of The City And So It Is Mostly Center Of The Attraction Of Tourist. This Park Was Constructed In 1994, The Park Is Looked After By The Buddha Purnima Project Authority Regulated By Government Of Telangana. To Enhance The Flow Of Visitors Facilities Like Light Show, Musical Fountains, Boating Etc Is Provided.

The Terrorist Attack On 25th August 2007, Serial Bombment Killed At Least 44 People And Injured More Than 60 People. Therefor The Park Was Closed For Few Days As This Place Was Also The Target Of The Two Consecutive Bomb Blast In The Evening Hours. It Is The Place Where The First Spectacular Water Multimedia Fountain Show. Every Evening Marks Large Massive Mob, Media Elements, Laser Animation, Live Videos, Stunning Sound Quality, Rhythmic Musical Fountains And Exotic Beam Effects. The Main Attraction Is The Huge Statue Of Lord Buddha In The Center Of Hussain Sagar. The Entry Fees Is Rs 10/- Per Person And Rs 50/- Per Person For Laser Show And No DSLR And Video Cameras Are Allowed With Daily Opening Of The Park From Monday To Sunday From 9 AM To 5 PM.
