The Parliament Building Or Sansad Bhavan Is The House Of The Parliament Of The India Located In The Capital, New Delhi. It Was Constructed In 1921 And Was Opened In 1927. The Architect Responsible For Its Construction Were Edwin Lutyens And Herbert Baker.

The Opening Ceremony Of The House , Called As Central Central Legislative Assembly, Was Started On 18th Jan 1927 Lord Irwin Who Was Then The Viceroy Of India. Next To The Parliament House Stands The Parliament Museum Which Was Opened On The Year 2006. The Parliament House Is Very Famous For Its Circular Shape Which Is Inspired From Ashoka Chakra. There Are Separate Halls Constructed For Different Sessions Of The Chamber Of The Princes, The State Council And For The Legislative Assembly.

The Whole Building Is Surrounded By Large Garden And Of The Railings (Jali) Which Are Molded After The Great Stupa Of Sanchi. The Central Hall Is Located Just Below The Dome And Which Is Said To Be One Amongest The Most Magnificent Domes In The World. From Here Only President Address Both The Houses Of The Parliament On The First Session Of Each Year.The Black Day In The History On 13th December 2001 Marked The Terrorist Attack On The Parliament Building. A Building Not Only Made Up Of Red Sandstone But Marks The Pride And Honor Of Every Indian.
