24 Meter Height At Its Crest And As Long As 1341 Meter Is Tigra Dam. It Has 4.8 Million Cubic Meters Capacity And The Structure Has 1274 Cubic Meter Per Second Spillway Capacity. On This Site In 1916 In Afternoon In August 4, 1917 The Construction Was Damaged Due To Infiltration Into The Sand Stone Foundation. Around 1000 People Are Said To Be Killed Downstream In This Incident. Further Construction Was Started In 1970 But Was Again Damaged.
