Umanada Temple Was Built In 1694 A.D. By The Bar Phukan Garhganya Handique On The Order Of The Gadadhar Singha Of The Ahom Dynasty. However The Temple Was Immensely Destroyed By The Earthquake In 1897 But Was Later Reconstructed By The Local Merchants. The Structure Is A Typically Masterly Skills Of The Assamese Craftsman. The Representation Of Surya, Ganesha, Shiva And Devi Are Found On The Temple.
