Located In The Southern End Of Digholi Pukhuri Tank Situated In The Heart Of Guwahati City, Assam Is The Famous Assam State Museum. The Assam State Museum Was Established In 1940 By The Kamrupa Anusandhan Samiti By Late Kanklal Baruah. Later In 1953 It Was Taken Over By The State Govt. The Museum Remains Open Only For 6 Days And Its Timing Is 10 Am To 05 Pm In Summers And 10 Am To 04.30 Pm In Winters Except On Mondays. The Museum Stay Closed On 2nd And 4th Saturday Of The Month And Also On The Govt Holidays.
