It Is Said That Indra On The Order On Sage Dadhichi Bought The Holy Water Of All The Rivers So That Dadhichi Could Take The Holy Dip Into It Before Donating His Bones To Make A Weapon, Vajra To Kill A Demon Who Was Blessed By Lord Shiva Not To Be Killed By Any Metal Or Wooden Weapon. The River Gomti Is Said To Originate From This Place Only From The Holy Sacred Well, Chakra Kunda. Naimisaranya Temple Is Classified As A Divyadesam, The 108 Lord Vishnu Temples That Are Revered In The Vaishnava Canon. Naimisharanya Is Also Famous For Goddess Sita, Wife Of Lord Rama Temple.
