Kalpathi Ratholsavam Is An Annual Ten Days Chariot Festival Conducted In The Month Of November. In Kalpathi Ratholsavam, Vedic Recitals And Cultural Programs Are Observed On The First Four Days Of The Festival. The Festival Is Believed To Be Around 700 Years Old, Where On The Last Three Days Thousand Of Devotees Gather All Together In Order To Decorate The Temple Chariots Which Moves Around The Streets. The Ancient Temple Nestles By The Banks Of The Holy River Which Is Also Known As The Very Famous Neela River. The Kalpathi Temple Has Various Similarities As That Of The Famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple Of Varanasi On The Banks Of Ganges In North India. The Meaning Of The Word Kalpathi Is Half Kashi.
