It Is The Scared Shrine Which Is Renowned For Its Great Wealth And Is Built Over The Charred Breasts Of Devi Sati. The Temple Was Numerous Times Looted By Foreign Invaders And Was First Invaded, Plundered And Looted By Mohommad Ghajini In 1009. The Sacred Shrine Was Then After 35 Years Was Repaired And Regained By A Local King. Later In 1360, Firoz Shah Tughlaq Again Ransacked The Temple. But King Akbar Visited The Temple And Restored Its Former Grandeur. The Temple Stands Now Beautiful In White Color Structure.
